Diet Day - 16

Muuzi and me are 16 days into our diet... and so far things look good.

We've both loss around 3-4 kgs each.. and are making great progress. We are just taking the diet slowly, and not really forcing ourselves on being too strict with what we eat, but we are still losing weight gradually so thats good.. :)

Alia, being the over achiever that she is loss a whopping 6.7kgs (you can read about that in her journey blog)

The family has really got the hang of this eating healthy lifestyle. Best thing about it is that i have started cooking more... and i wasn't really sure i could cook anything other than pasta/maggi. :P

But on monday i made chicken cordon bleu all by myself!! I was so proud, and honestly it tasted pretty decent considering it was low fat cheese. hehe.

Ozzie Ozzie OZZIE - Part 3.

Writing out every single detail of our ozzie trip has become a bit tiring, so here's a crash course on our trip. :)

Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie - Part 2

Day 1 (part 2)
.... after a short 10 minute ride, our bus arrives in Brisbane city.

Where there was even MORE rain.. we quickly took shelter in the Queens Street Mall. Me and Alia decided to start shopping, partly to get a change of dry clothes, partly because Alia got pooped on. haha.

I decided not to get anything, cuz my clothes had practically dried itself, plus i didn't have bird poo on me. :P But Alia seemed happy with her purchase.

After shopping we had lunch at a real australian foodcourt. I couldn't help but notice, that all australian foodcourts were exactly alike, Asian foods, Kebabs, McDonalds, and Gloria Jeans.

Sorry about how icky i look at this point i still had the smell of Malaysia on me.

Anyway we had this japanese rice combo meal, Hanaichi, which apparently is Alia's fave ozzie food. It was really nice. Anyway later, we went to Alia's old neighborhood in Taringa to collect the car we had rented for the week then went back to Donna's place showered (which we really needed) and had our first girls night out in Oz.

Day 2 (Sunday)

The next day, the Australian weather still wasn't getting any better. It was drizzling a lot so the day was wet and cold.

We met up with Alia's friend Yumi and had lunch in Southbank, which is by the brisbane river also famous for it's artificial sea. It was really beautiful despite the fact that it was raining a little.. but the Australians didn't seem to mind much.

We had burgers and Grill'd for Lunch (no pics, too hungry to take pics of the food) and Dessert at Max Brenner. If Willy Wonka were a real person, he would be Max Brenner!!

We might have over did it a little bit tho... Chocolate Waffles, Chocolate Brownies and Ice Cream, Choc Fondue and a Hazelnut Toffee Drink.

Oh did i mention Alia got pooped on again? hahaha

Apparently, there's nothing much to do in Brisbane of Sundays, so we just spent the evening at Yumi's house, then went back to Donna's.... to be continued.

Ozzie Ozzie Ozzzzzieeee!!!!

Yes tis it! the much awaited ozzie trip update!!!

I am so excited, cuz i just finished going thru bagazillion pictures!

Here it goes!!!

DAY 0 3rd Dec 2010 (friday)

Our flight was at 9pm that day, so me and alia still had to go work, boo.

Unfortunately my work day started off with a GOTCHA call from Ian and JJ. -_- See marrying rockstars has it's downfalls. I do not recommend it. (JK, haha)

neways, got off work at 5ish and sped back home to grab my bags and rush to LCCT.

Lets just say, it wasn't my best day. I was a mess, rushing to get off work early, i accidently cut my finger while cutting some paper. Then i flew out of the office, leaving behind me house keys, wallet, and USD 300 that Muuzi had given me to use (incase of emergency).

I know, im so goddamn hopeless. Luckily i gave my passport to alia the night before. So it turned out i didn't really need my wallet and stuff.

Phew.

Anyhow, we finally got on the plane! How was the flight? Seriously, it was torture, babies crying, i was in between Alia and a giant indian guy, it was so cramped i swear. Honestly i have never flown long distance using AirAsia before, during the landing my ears felt like they were about to explode, not fun. PURE TORTURE.

Somehow i fell asleep, and woke up just as the sun was rising above what looked like the australian desert. It was so beautiful. :)

Anyway, 8 Super uncomfortable hours later... we landed in Coolangatta Airport.

Day 1!!!

Alia's friend Donna, was nice enuff to make the 1 hour drive from Brisbane to Coolangatta to pick us up at 7am local time..

We made the 1 hour drive back to Donna's place (where we were to be staying for this trip) and had a short break before Alia decided it was absolutely necessary that we go to the famous Australian morning market.

I had no complaints, despite being a bit tired i was excited to see all the sights, it being my first time here and all.. plus i was starving.

The Coffee nut had her first cuppa joe, and i had some yummy HOT Chocolate. Then we had Hungarian Langos with lotsa cheese for breakfast. It was awesome, in fact even blogging about it now makes me hungry...

The Australian summer weather proved a fickle thing, cuz one minute it was nice and sunny, then it was pouring cats and dogs.

We ran all the way to the bus stop to get a bus to the city (which was our next destination). I quickly learnt how much walking i would have to endure in the next few days.

Alia, being so used to it, would say something (in this case the bus stop) is around the corner, when it's actuality, up a giant hill, across field, three traffic lights and a corner.

Did i mention it was raining? -_-

Haha, me and alia had our nails done @kukubar bangsar in time for our trip to OZ. Unfortunately we are not dainty people, so the nail polish prolly wont last till we actually get to OZ. tsk.

Well at least we got a bargain on it. :D

I've been stalking bargain sites like groupsmore.com, mydeals.com and everyday.com.my for awesome bargains!

So far we've (me & alia) had our hair done @Hairkunst, nails @kukubar, giant burgers for dinner @cravings kitchen (to be talked about soon), and a spa session @bella luna spa. :D

all for under RM100. Yes, when i'm cheap, i OPTIMIZE cheapness!

How on earth...

Did my life get so interesting??

It use to be that i didn't have anything to write/blog about.. but suddenly i got a entire list of things to blog about.. but instead do not have the time to write it out. Dang.

List of things i MUST update on.
- Zekry & Rusyan's bday last weekend. (had tons of fun at both boys bday's ^_^)
- My new phone.... :D :D :D No, i didn't get a blackberry, or an iphone4 (boo!) instead i got a good sturdy phone, so that i won't be devastated if i lose/misplace/ruin it. :D I'll let you know what phone it is soon.
*anything is a upgrade from using my tok's nokia. Kesian tok, takde phone. :P
-I dyed my hair using Liese Bubble Hair color. :D Stories on that too later.
-Foza's wedding... which is tonight, but i should just remind myself to blog about that anyway.
-Adam Lambert!!!! i can't believe i haven't updated on that yet. urgh. Me and Alia had a blast, it was her first concert in Malaysia. Then, Alia went to see Paramore as well with Ezani, she didn't have to pay for either concerts. Lucky Witch.
-Pics of New office cat TIPPY!! He's so comel!! i got pics! ^_^
-A Slice of Heaven cakes........ zOMG can't tell you about it now, i might pass out from the longing. :(

Typical, Typical, typical.

So many things have been going on lately, i have no idea what to talk about anymore...

So here's the jist,

-I'm now working in advertising. (Hence the obvious lack of post, and the no social life)

-Muuzi and I went for our kursus kahwin in Zura's Akademik, in Bangsar, and were left traumatized and disturbed.

-My baby sister, Alia is coming home on 16/03/10 which is this TUESDAY! ^_^.

-I discovered that planning a wedding is super STRESSFUL.

-I've chosen GREEN & PINK for my theme, hopefully it's gonna be awesome.

-I was asked to be a contributor on a PIZZZA MAGAZINE. Which has been really fun so far. :)

-Found out my future husband has a very active imagination and pulls sour face when the request for an 11 men entourage, his own HORSE to ride to the wedding venue and SWORD instead of the traditional keris was denied.

The request that he get a LOW RIDER BIKE for Hantaran is still under negotiation.

GAH! What the hell am i marrying into!!? *haha JK!*

Back on Track

I can't tell you the countless times i've logged in to Blogspot and stared blankly at the computer screen trying to figure what part of my life should i write about..

And as you can see by my clear lack of updates, it usually it ends up with me logging into my facebook/twitter account and stalking other people's lives. :P

Other than the pending drama of my imaginary degree... life's been great.

Here's a few details on what's been going on..

- I've been twittering (psst: follow me!) a lot lately, currently enjoy stalking Ryan Seacrest :D

- It was Alia's birthday yesterday (14th july)... didn't get her anything (no money), but i'm sure E2 gave her something really nice for all our sakes.

owh and Happy Belated Birthday yang ke-SUKU ABAD to Jaja!

- Mama was in the hospital a few days ago due to abdominal pains.. turns out she had a fibroid attack. She's out and about now but will have an operation in September/October. yikes. Hope everything turns out ok.

- Saw DRAG ME TO HELL, twice!! Both times free.. courtesy of Uncle Mac. First time i saw it with Mashi & Jaja! Which was so much fun since it's been a long time since just us girls hung out together, i didn't even mind sitting next to Mashi (who has a tendency to hit people when she's terkejut).. anyway I loved the movie.. but it was kinda gross at some points. :P

- Haven't been spending the desired amount of time with Muuzi, cuz he's been busy A LOT. Between work and the band, i only see him during lunch breaks and late dinners (which also explains why i'm getting fatter btw)... but i don't blame him, he works really hard and i'm so proud of him. :)

- I recently discovered some girls scare me, i've recently encountered a few young(er than me) girls who have so happily admitted to having one night stands so casually. I don't think i am being 'so kampung' when saying that these type of stories should just be kept to your selves. I don't need the details of your dirty business and i think it's safe to say no one else really wants to know either.

- I'm still jobless... which is starting to effect my self esteem and finances. The thing is, i haven't really tried looking for a job. I'm still expecting a job offer to fall down from the sky. *fingers crossed* ^_^

- Owh!!! Muuzi got a nintendo Wii!!! :D I almost forgot to blog about it.. Me and Jaja spent most of last week playing with it until our arms were too sore to play. I love the WiiFit!! It's so FUN! I've been raving about it to everyone. I'm thinking of getting one for Mama on her birthday so she can yoga on it. :P Highlight of the evening is when we got Syed and Azlee to play the HulaHoop game.. OMG it was so hysterical!! Waiting for Izhan to come back from China so we can torture him next! :D

- I'm going to the SHOUT AWARDS @ stadium putra this friday... still trying to figure out what to wear. Ideas?

- I'm starting to be very agitated by other peoples "DRAMA's".. I know i once said i love to watch people's drama's but i think certain people are just terlampau 'dramatic' even for me to handle. Creating multiple problems with acts of stupidity and "i-didn't-mean-to's"... I believe we are all old enough to take into account for our own actions, and if you repeatedly do negative things that effects others.. don't play dumb when it all blows up in your face.

- I WANT HARRY POTTER TICKETS DAMMIT!!! the stupid GSC website doesn't work. STUPID as hell!! Can't seem to do any sort of booking, just keeps refreshing! By the time i get thru, all the tix are already booked! haih.. GSC needs to update their database soon yo!! Hopefully gonna be able to watch it on SATURDAY. Yay!

I think that's all for now really can think of right now.... i'll try and improve my blogging habits from now on. :)

Owh and if you're wondering whats going on with the layout, i've been stressing out cuz the old layout was really heavy and took forever to load, so this is the temporary layout till i find something better.

Anyways, I had a good weekend.

On Friday, went to BARSONIC with the girls was a uneventful night... almost. :P Some people got a little carried away, and i was a bit irritated cuz there were so many posey people there. Haih.

On Saturday, Me, Muuzi and some other people went to Megat Johan's birthday party at PHUTURE. Im not even gonna complain about how packed it was, or how rude the bouncers were, peh. I dunno why i keep being dragged to Zouk when clearly Zouk sucks so much ass. Habits are hard to break i guess. Haih.

Sunday is as usual, Hari Malas sedunia. I woke up at 3pm (dah lama tak buat perangai begini huhu!) !! Muuzi was supposed to go to Thailand with his boss for work, but it got cancelled (Yay!!). So we went for Burger King at Mutiara Damansara and met up with Mashi Jaja, and ended up buying some dvd's and just chillin' at home.

Funny Story about the DVD's but i promised 'someone' i wouldn't tell. :P

WE ( as in Me, Mashi, Jaja, Muuzi, Max, Syed, Azlee and Izhan) originally wanted to have a picnic today, but the weather looked kinda dodgy so instead WE made the trip to Omar&Wifes house for free Nasi Ayam and a game Frisbee!!

FRISBEE TWAS so much FUN!

My aim was really bad most of the time... i really don't have any hand-eye coordination. hehe. so i ended up just taking pictures and videotaping funny people. :P

Then went back to tropicana for naps & PS3 and later headed back here to Cyberjaya.

Got class tomorrow. Better get some shut eye. ^_^
