Holidaaaaayyyy!!!!

It feels like ages since i last had a holiday...

Ok, i went to penang a few weeks ago.. And i dont have a real job, so y do i need a holiday?

Firstly, penang didnt count as a holiday, because we were there for a wedding, and there was more relative visiting, and less lounging by the poolside. Secondly, everyone needs a break from their everyday routine once in awhile.. :D even if tht routine includes afternoon naps and a whole lot of tv watchin.... Sometimes its nice to have an afternoon nap, and watch tv in a different state, preferbly a state by the sea.

But seriously, we had so much fun in Port Dickson! We stayed in Avillion PD, which is a gorgeous seaside hotel/villa, mama got to come with us, Mahdi got to spend time with his grandparents, aunties, uncles and baby cousin Dalmar. And me and Muuzi got to go late night swimming in the 24 hour pool! We bought giant floppy hats, and ate satay. It was just what we all needed.

 Oh we had so much fun today!

We were invited to the Drypers Pool party at The Club, Bukit Utama... That place is like a tiny theme park for kids... so fun! There was lots of food, games and swimming!

We brought Mahdi into the swimming pool for the first time. It was so funny.

Because the event started at 8.30am, which normally for us, is still considered sleep time. Mahdi was still feeling sleepy, and so while he taking a ride in the little float, he was falling asleep..

After about 10 minutes, we took him out and used Muuzi's natural hotness to warm him up, where he continued to sleep for the next hour of the event... :P FAIL.

Fortunately, mahdi later woke up... just in time for the games. One game was particularly funny, cuz a parent had to pakaikan the bibs on the baby... It was kinda unfair cuz all the other babies could sit up, and mahdi was the youngest one and was lying down. :P

We did pretty well, he almost got third place.. hehe lambat sikit je. So proud of you two! Still we didn't go back empty handed. Look at all our goodies! Yay.

 

Oh, forgot to mention bro in law Taq and family was there too.. tp dtg lambat. :P

All in all, it was a super fun day.... although, when we got home, we had a well deserved afternoon nap. :) Too much excitement for one day, i think. :P

Rockin Rockaway weekend...

This weekend was frickin Awesome!!!

Me and Muuzi spent the weekend at Palace of the golden horses, where they hosted the rockaway press conference and all the international acts. The hotel was heavenly, the detailing around the hotel was so intricate and beautiful.. I was totally geeking out about all the little horse statues and carvings..

Love. Love. Love. 

Anyway the reason we were there was so Muuzi could work on Rockaway..

Rockaway itself, was super hectic.. Luckily i managed to get into the press conference to meet The Used in person.. And i got to see them play an acoustic set. Honestly, They are seriously the nicest bunch of guys, and lead singer Bert is one super hilarious dude.

On Rockaway day, Muuzi had to get up super early to collect One Buck Short's new album.. So i just hung out around the hotel and went swimming..

Alia, Ezani and mama came by and hung out at the hotel with me and had some room service before the concert.. Since Rockaway is a 12 hour festival and i'm insanely pregnant, we didn't do an all day fiesta which i'm used to.. We got to the venue at 8 just in time to see All time low's last two songs..

It was really fun to be out with friends again. It was especially fun to see my Muuzi shine like the rockstar he is.... I kept beaming thinking of how much i am so proud of my baby daddy. :)

All in all.. the night was a blast, not to mention a giant success for OBS and the organizers.. All the acts did an amazing job performing, I especially enjoyed The Used' super stellar performance... i enjoyed every second. Even the wet rainy bits. :)

Great company, Great music + Baby Daddy rocking out like a rockstar = One awesome night.

Ulu Yam Picnic with the Girls

Got a msg from Miss Qemmal last week, inviting everyone to a picnic in UluYam on the 1st of August.

Excited to see my friends for the first time since the wedding, i replied straight away with a 'Count me in'!!

Sunday, 1st August came around, and i had miscalculated that i would be at MTV World Stage all day saturday and at night at Green Room: The Rapture til 4 am.

I was supposed to meet Zetty/Gjan/Yanti at 7 am.. with lack of sleep and barely any energy i made the trip anyway. Canceling on my friends, yet again, was not an option. Thank God Gjan came late, giving me an excuse to get a tiny bit more rest before the hike.

We arrived at my friend Pqok's house at 9, and had to wait another 30mins or so for the rest of the group to show up, Typical. :)

We finally left for Ulu Yam, and arrived at around 10.30am, the place was already pretty packed with people.

We hiked down, and in the jungle till we finally agreed on a secluded spot to ourselves. Quickly we started on our awesome Nasi Lemak and Teh Panas (gila babi), for breakfast.

It was only after eating that we discovered that our picnic spot had a lot of pacats, luckily we had Zetty the Pacat destroyer around. Or we, probably would have been eaten ALIVE!!

After we all finished our mandi manda session and most of the food had been consumed, we left Ulu Yam and went to Wangsa Walk, for a quick Karaoke session before i had to go back to Melawati.

No pics of that yet, but will definitely upload them soon ^_^

Urban Escapades.

Urbanscapes was an awesome experience!! Awesome artworks, awesome performances and got some super cool stuff! I bought an awesome Marilyn Monroe Tshirt which i love! and a Lady Gaga tank top. ^_^ also a comel gila headband with rainbow colored feathers on it. Weee!

Plus it was just great chillin' with all my friends tepi tasik not in a club. :D My only real regret is that i didn't bring my camera (kicks self repeatedly) cuz i thought that jojo would bring one, and she thought i would and didn't bring one either. Haih, great minds think alike eh? :P

I suppose by now, everyone is well aware of the H1N1 scare that hit Urbanscapes.. I hope Munkey and Eday get well soon.

Me, Mashi took Jojo to GH to get a H1N1 screening cuz she wasn't feeling well.. fortunately Doctor diagnosed her flu due to too much partying (not H1N1 related) but to stay away from public just incase.
