9 Months!

Time flies when you are having SO MUCH FUN!!!

I can't believe Mahdi is already 9 months old.. and somehow i'm also shock that it's ONLY BEEN 9 months since he's been in my life, cuz i can't picture my life before him. :)

Honestly, I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful and understanding little baby.

Everyone who meets him are always surprised at how laid back and funny he is. He doesn't pull tantrums (so much), he doesn't fuss... and he smiles all the time, it makes my heart melt. :)

He's the most wonderful baby in the world (i might be biased.. cuz he's all mine.)

What is love?

Being a mother has taught me a lot about life, and watching someone grow in front of my eyes makes me put a lot of things in perspective.

Whenever mahdi looks at me, with this adoring look on his face.... i can't help but feel like he's telling me that he loves me.

It's uncomplicated love.... then it got me thinking, why is it so hard for some people to find love, when we are basically born with it.

Mahdi didn't have to learn to love me.. but he does so, regardless of my flaws.


So what is love?

I think love, is basically having someone you need more than anything else.

Its not based on personality, and superficial reasons... because my baby taught me that he doesn't need toys to be happy.

He's happy enough just having us talk to him, and cuddle him. Cuz he needs me... therefore he 'loves' me.

I feel the same way about all the other people i love... my family, Muuzi and my friends.

Muuzi, for example... i couldn't imagine my life now without him. I need him in my life, therefore i love him.

so, Basically, falling in love... is realizing that you 'need' that person in your life.

Hence why, you feel helpless when someone you love/need isn't available.

So when you find someone that 'needs' you, and you find that you 'need' them too.... never let them down. :)

Two weeks!!

woaaaaahhhhhhh... time is flying like lightning!!!

I don't know whether it's because of the lack of sleep, or cuz we're having so much fun! But it's been a crazy TWO weeks!

Baby boy is getting so big now, he finally opened his eyes.. and has this puzzled look when we talk to him, which is so cute and irresistible!

I LOVE YOU soooo much baby boy!! It's crazy how much i do. :)

1 week..

I'm so proud! Baby boy is 1 week old today! :)

He's getting bigger and bigger everyday.. and he's growing up so fast!

It's been a crazy week.. and i think that i've cried more in this past week than i've ever cried before (tears of joy and happiness, as well as tears of frustration, sleep deprivation and stress).

Whatever it is.... I love you so much baby boy. You make everyday worthwhile. :)

Lost and Found..

So we went to the baby doctor this morning, everything looks fine and dandy.... we saw his face clearly for the first time, and i'm pretty sure he'll look a lot like Muuzi... but we have to wait to see if i'm right.

Anyway, after our appointment we had lunch with the boys at Berjaya then Muuzi sent me home before he went back to work..

At home, i finished up some freelance work and spent the rest of the day cleaning up the bookshelves... then i found this cd with all our prewedding pictures on it. Ahhh... memories. :)
I absolutely love our prewedding pictures... mostly because we were relaxed and they were shot in KLPAC (which i love!). Our actual day wedding pictures were a bit more rushed and to think of it i don't even have a picture of myself and muuzi posing by the titiwangsa lake (where we got married) in our pink ensemble.. Boo! :(

All alone on a sunday afternoon, Mama went teaching and Muuzi is at the office.. I'm starting to feel like today is Monday..

Muuzi has been working crazy hours all week long, coming home at 3-6am, working on this campaign for one of their clients (FYI: Other than being a amazing rockstar, Muuzi has a very good day job where he's the Interactive Group Head at an ad agency)...

I feel so guilty watching him work himself sick so that he can provide the best possible life for our future baby.. but since i'm not working, all i can really do is make sure this baby is healthy and make sure none of the 'home' situations bother Muuzi.. like throwing out the trash, and stuff like that.

I don't know how i would ever repay him for all the things he has sacrificed for me, and i wish i could contribute more, so then maybe he wouldn't have to work so hard... but if i know my man, he never does anything half heartedly. Be it work, Comida, the band, or family... he always gives out 100%, or at least the best he possibly can.

I just wish, people didn't take advantage of his kindness, and big heart... and actually start appreciating everything he does for people, because i feel that people tend to expect certain things from him without regard to how he's hoping with the pressure of expectations.

My husband is the best man i've ever known in my life... and it's about time people recognize that.

Last day in Softcell.

 It's my last day in Softcell today... when i started working there, i knew i wouldn't last vert long. Being that it had 3 dogs which i was terrified of.

I used to have Elly escort me in and out of the office... and would be in fear of going to work.

But soon, i got used to the dogs (dogs are really very silly creatures) and the psychotic cats... and grew to love it there. The atmosphere was awesome, i made many friends.. and given the opportunity i would definitely go back after i've learnt all i need to learn somewhere else first.

I took a lot of pictures on my last day... but some people were out of the office, so it'll be unfair to upload just half the pics. So i'll upload these instead. :D

Collie!!! Is actually the neighbours dog. But he likes to hang around our office. He's the nicest dog i've ever met, and probably the reason im no longer afraid of dogs. :) Thx Collie!

Not around for photo sessions were cats: Muccus, Kiki, Boo, Lampada. dogs: Princess, Hazel, Snooks, Hatchi, and Chip.

Owh and the people: Keith, Aiai, Ravi, Billy, Bulma, Barry, Lydia and Anu.

Will miss you all a lot. :) Hope to see you guys soon.

10 days left.

The countdown has officially begun,

and I'd be lying if i said i wasn't super excited...

also I'd be lying if i said i am not scared to death of what the future holds for me.

and I'd be lying if i said that i was totally prepared to be a grown up.

but i'd be lying if i said that i be happier with someone other than Muuzi, Or that i could even go on living my life without him in it.

Funny thinking back how i was reluctant to accept him because i said 'You are looking for wife, not a girlfriend'

and he assured me that, that was not the case. Then two weeks into the relationship he told me

'I know i said i wasn't looking for a wife, but i don't think i wanna marry anyone else but you'

and now i feel the exactly the same way, and i can't wait to marry him. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEEEE!!!

Other than the typical.. shit-im-frickin-old feeling.. i also woke up with a feeling of awesomeness that cannot be denied!

Last night was so unexpected.

I had spent the whole of Saturday following Alia and Ezani around.. because Muuzi was too busy to see me, Mashi was working, Mama was at Devi's, and Jaja.. well she was not available.

Feeling like a third wheel on Alia and Ezani, i just followed them do errands and attempt to look for jeans for Ezani.

Then at the end of the trip around 8-ish Alia took pity upon me and said she would belanja me TGIF.. with the promise that she would tell no one it's my birthday, so the TGIF people wont embarress me with their happy sing-song ways.

We got to the TGIF in OU.. and to my surprise.. i saw Azlee there next to Muuzi, next to Jaja, and Mashi... and a whole bunch of other people...

It was a surprise party.

Hence how SURPRISED i was.. that Muuzi could pull something like this off. (he's not very discreet.. and usually can't hide something from me to save his life)

We had a great dinner with a bunch of friends and some of my family. :)

Then Muuzi gave me my present...

I still have the best boyfriend EVER!!!

and my second present was from my new little brother Iffat and his girlfriend Rina. It was a New Moon Mug. Now i can have milo with Rpat'z face on it! I have the best little Brother!

Oh yea... they lied btw. They did tell the TGIF people it was my birthday. Hence complete and utter embarresment Urgh.

Everything has been such a huge blur, one minute i'm getting engaged...

then it's suddenly 3 months to the wedding.. and nothing is done!

So due to my visible absence from the web, here's what i got done this past few weeks

- I Got my Passport did. Woot!! Honeymoon here i come! *Actually got the passport done to buy tickets for Taq's jakarta wedding, which is a week after ours. So me and muuzi thought why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone, and have the honeymoon in Jakarta.*

- Went to the tailor to get my baju bersanding made.

It's gonna be something like this, but pink and white. :)

- Met with Rudy Popshuvit @ Rudy LightRoom wedding photog extraordinaire! :) He said he'd be glad to take the wedding day pics and i was really impressed with his stuff.

- Went for my dress fitting, at PRECIOUS SS2, we took their prewedding photography package, and they gave me a beautiful white dress for the wedding day that i get to KEEP for good! Unfortunately I still had to make the sanding baju, cuz the the elders thought it would look funny, i bersanding in a white couture gown. :P But i'm still planning wearing it while doing chores around the house. :D

It's something close to this, but not exactly, but with lace sleeves! ^_^

- Then, went mattress shopping with Muuzi and Taq, which was a reasonably bad idea cuz both insisted they should try out every single mattress in the store, Muuzi especially had a lot of fun rolling around on RM70K mattresses while i pretend i have no idea who he is.

- I bought a new TV!!!!!!!! well, me and alia did at least. Say hello to our new 32inch LCD TV

Gelak puas hati gila2.. muahahahahaha

Since doing the last thing on the list, i am now flat broke. :D

Owh and also... while on the subject of brokeness, i lost my phone a few days ago. :((

honestly the saddest thing that has happen to me in a long time. I think it's karma, what goes up much come down. At least the worst has passed, now bring on the HAPPY THOUGHTS!

Today marks the one year anniversary of the day that i decided to take a chance on a man who had always been a great friend.

Taking one step at a time and just going with the flow... we end up here, one wonderful year later, engaged and happier than ever.

Since we've been friends for so long it feels silly to celebrate 1 year of relationship, since we've known each other for waaay longer than that.

Muuzi and Me

So last Saturday (12/09) was the day the Latif's met the Adam's. It was definitely an interesting night.

What was suppose to be just a 'Merisik' turned out to be a whole 'Engagement' thinggy... Cuz we all decided that having a big kenduri for the engagement would be to much of a hassle, with his parents being overseas and my family being mostly consisting of senior citizens. (Love you tok!)

Honestly, i do prefer it this way. It was much more intimate, with people who really care, as apposed to have some spectacle filled with people who don't really give a shit about me and just there to be negative.

So there it is, WE ARE ENGAGED! weeeeee! I know i'm like SO over excited about this, LIKE OMG i'm such a girl. I never EVER thought i would be the marrying type, but now i feel like I'M SO READY. huhu I'll probably annoy my girlfriends to death with wedding talk.. but really, what's a girl supposed to do?

Me and Mundzir have been getting a lot of mixed reactions about the news, which is understandable, it's a BIG leap.. but mostly it's been positive. So YAY.

So anyway, we don't have a date yet.. but it's probably gonna be end of 2010. Ye, lama lagi.. so you got lot of time to plan what you are gonna get me. :P

Funny story about the ring: My wonderful boyfriend bought it like a million times too small. So when his mother tried to put it on me, i had to wear it on my pinky. How Embarrassing.

Then he went to change it recently and it was still about a size TOO SMALL. But this time he said he can't exchanged it anymore, when i asked why he showed me the engraving inside. It was so sweet, how on earth could you be mad. Haih.
