Drypers pool party

 Oh we had so much fun today!

We were invited to the Drypers Pool party at The Club, Bukit Utama... That place is like a tiny theme park for kids... so fun! There was lots of food, games and swimming!

We brought Mahdi into the swimming pool for the first time. It was so funny.

Because the event started at 8.30am, which normally for us, is still considered sleep time. Mahdi was still feeling sleepy, and so while he taking a ride in the little float, he was falling asleep..

After about 10 minutes, we took him out and used Muuzi's natural hotness to warm him up, where he continued to sleep for the next hour of the event... :P FAIL.

Fortunately, mahdi later woke up... just in time for the games. One game was particularly funny, cuz a parent had to pakaikan the bibs on the baby... It was kinda unfair cuz all the other babies could sit up, and mahdi was the youngest one and was lying down. :P

We did pretty well, he almost got third place.. hehe lambat sikit je. So proud of you two! Still we didn't go back empty handed. Look at all our goodies! Yay.

 

Oh, forgot to mention bro in law Taq and family was there too.. tp dtg lambat. :P

All in all, it was a super fun day.... although, when we got home, we had a well deserved afternoon nap. :) Too much excitement for one day, i think. :P

All Systems Go!

I LOVE, love, love going to Dr Kamaljit (my baby doctor in bangsar)...

She always eases my fears, and makes me feel like i'm doing a great job incubating my lil baby.

This time around was an especially exciting visit, since we saw the baby had reached the proper position for delivery.. so we can be assured, he's coming any day now!!!

That being said, after being super annoying and obsessing about the baby shower, the 'organizers' have finally decided to let me in on the whole planning phase. I'm so psyched!!!

I've been on overdrive all day... being creative and making the invites, place cards and such...

My biggest and only problem is the darn guestlist, because most of the things we plan to do is much better suited to a smaller crowd of people. Unfortunately, with me and mundzir each having tons of friends and relatives, it'll prove quite a challenge to scale down our guestlist down to 30 people.

And to think we thought we were past this problem when we were doing our wedding guestlist, which from 200 people, became close to 400 guest. huhu..

Sigh, what to do... my future baby is so popular. :P

Project 500 new moons

WOOT!!
Being the social media addict i am, i was selected to join project 500.

FYI, Project 500 is an 'TOP SECRET ELITE' group of Malaysia's most active social media buffs; so naturally being picked was sort of cool (at first), I had received an EXCLUSIVE limited invite to go to a TOP SECRET BRIEFING about the project in CATHAY CINELEISURE, Followed by a PRIVATE FREE SCREENING of NEW MOON.

Anyway, i was a little excited to go to the event (movie aside), i have never been to a social network meet, so i was ready to meet some new people, but when i got there to the actual event, i realized that i'm not that sociable at all. I knew no one (except for a few people who i sort of recognize from facebook/myspace but no one that i know personally or even anyone who knew me that actually plucked up the courage to say hi)... and worse, no one seem to want to know me.

Which made me wonder maybe the 'cyber' me is actually more friendly/famous/interesting than the actual me. hmm...
Maybe i'm just not a friendly person. sigh.

Neway after a bit of lolly gagging ALONE up and down Cineleisure i actually bumped into someone i knew, one of Muuzi's bestfriends from high school Farez Reza and his gf Liyana. Later, bumped into Tekong a friend from MMU. PEOPLE I KNOW! YAY!

After a short chat we were ushered into the cinema, to begin the briefing.

Basically, i wasn't impressed with what they had to offer and suddenly being a TOP SOCIAL MEDIA USER wasn't so impressive anymore.

Basically these people were using us to test a new tweetdeck/meebo sort of website.

I am not a big fan of tweetdeck and other social media lazyassed applications. If u don't have time to check ur facebook... Don't check it. It's not the end of the world. Besides these sort of applications suck out the fun of the ACTUAL facebooking/twittering however i remained unbiased until i actually checked the website out.

Given each our own login/password, i checked it out on the spot. LOGIN took forFREAKINever. So naturally i blamed it on sucky phone connection and thought i'd check it at home (which btw was amazingly slower)

After the briefing, the Q&A session was unbearable, listening to TECH GEEKS trying to out do one another with who could come up with the geekiest questions.

GEEK1: What is the refresh rate?
GEEK2: Will it lag my computer? can streamyx support it? (seriously?)
GEEK3: Based on the ATR rate, will the UPI be able to take OIJOHUOAGOMGWTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!!????

For this additional TORTURE/effort, i would at least think we would get more than a free movie and a discount KFC voucher.

New Moon is, dare i say a little bit better than Twilight. Mostly because Taylor Lautner is a better actor than Kristen blink-a-lot Stewart, and he made their scenes together more bearable to endure.. sadly everytime Blinky and Rpatz took the screen despite Rpatz being sparkly and gorgeous enuff for the both of them, their scenes always made me want to gauge my eyes out..

I don't blame YOU, robert. It's all blinky's fault!

Just for that i am now officially TEAM JACOB for twilight, but i'm also on TEAM ROBERT in real life. See, i'm so FAIR.

But i have to say one thing about Blinky Stewart, She airbrushes really well don't you think?

Raya this year was the same like all the years before.

Without incident, lotsa camwhoring, LOUD relatives, millions of babies (seriously.), no Alia, and loads of dirty dishes. With the minor ABSENCE of duit raya.

Been a busy busy bee..

Busy, Job searching and apartment hunting.

If all goes well, hopefully will get the new job by August. Hurrah! :D

Last friday went to Barsonic with the girls and wanthebomb!

Just like old times. Was awesome and free of DRAMA... which was nice for a change. :)

Then last night (saturday) me and jaja went to the Hennessy Artistry Party. I know technically by LAW, i'm not supposed to be there. These are the times when it rocks to be a rockstar's girlfriend..

I think the rule was stupid anyway... but i won't say more than that for fear of 800 negative comments.

Anyway, Fatman Scoop was awesome! Although he only performed like 3 mins at a time. but it was still entertaining. :)

One Buck Short was awesome. ^_^ but i may be biased. :P

YingYang was ok, but it got too hot and too crowded to enjoy myself. So we ended up leaving early to go makan.

Tonight we are all going to Pantai Remis to celebrate Winder's converting to islam. ^_^ Makan seafood! yeah!

The hopelessy uncoordinated vs. RM200 shoes

Which girl hasn't walked into a fancy shoe store and dreamed of wearing those killer heels to a fancy ultra glamorous event...

Where all the other girls watch in jealousy and wonder 'how do you walk in those shoes' and for a minute you amaze them.

Last week, i finally purchased my dream shoes, which I've had my eyes on forever from ZARA. I had planned to wear them to accompany Muuzi to the SHOUTAWARDS that Friday.

They looked awesome, and were super comfortable.... until i actually tried to walk in them.

Safe to say i wobbled more like jelly, and wound up plunging face first into a curb of dirt.

I'm currently not allowed to buy any shoes.. except flats.

On other stories, SHOUTAWARDS was interesting to the least. Muuzi and gang looked super cool being monotoned... and i enjoyed most of the performances.

I loved BUNKFACE's performance!! Those kids(the mini bunkface kids, not the actual ones) are just too darn CUTE!! Despite everything thats going wrong with their attitudes and the conflicts with the managers, they still can put out a great show.

Anyway kudo's to the winners.. too bad OBS wasn't nominated. Maybe next year. :)

Owh, i finally watched HARRY POTTER and the half blood prince on saturday with Mama,Muuzi,Jajito and a few other people. Like expected it was so totally awesome, beyond muggle words to describe.

My life is almost complete.
